Where do I begin with Tori and Mike’s Detroit Easter Market Wedding day? I could tell you all about the amazing adventure it was or the deep, strong love shared between Tori and Mike. There is so much to say about it all! All good things, of course! This Detroit Eastern Market Wedding was too fun! I had a blast capturing their special day and all the moments from beginning to end.
I started the day with Tori at her home in Berkley. Their adorable house was the perfect setting for the girls to get ready in. Everyone was relaxed and in their element. The fabulous, Jen Prouty, who was my associate shooter for the day, met up with the guys at the Detroit Renaissance Center. These two met up at the Detroit Ren Cen for their first look and let me tell you, it was adorable. I could tell by the pure emotions and genuine smiles it was going to be a good day, and a fabulous future for Tori and Mike!
Following their heart throbbing first look, we took a tour around Detroit. This wedding was about as Detroit rad as it gets! We photographed the bridal party along the Detroit skyline at The Z Lot and found some awesome graffiti walls painted stunning, bright colors. The amazingly fun bridal party rocked out being fabulous in any setting they were in! They were one of the funnest bunches I’ve photographed!
After documenting all the laughs and crazy moments, we were off to the official part of the day, their ceremony! These two fabulous folks wed at Royal Oak First Methodist Church. All the feels, people! It was absolutely beautiful to witness these two souls get married! It went by so fast! I’m sure they felt the same way. It wasn’t long before we were heading off to the party!
Located at the north end of the Detroit’s Eastern Market, these two held their reception at The Eastern. This historic, industrial building was so awesome! And it was decorated perfectly! Like seriously, the flowers and decor were stunning and totally fit into this unique, vintage space! Oh, and I almost forgot, the awesome chalk wall! Tori and Mike had their guests sign this stunning wall with notes of love! It was too cool!
