This Summer Romeo Michigan Wedding was incredible. On the day of Thu and Jon’s wedding I was beyond excited since it would be my first time meeting Thu! She was of course just as beautiful and amazing as I imagined her to be. Thu is from Australia and met Jon through his Mom. As soon as I saw them together I could see they were meant to be.
As Thu began getting ready I photographed the unique details including TWO breathtaking dresses! A white one for the ceremony and a deep blue dress that was covered in sparkling jewels for the reception! I loved it! The blue of the dress also tied into the bridesmaids dresses and all of the decor of the wedding done by Couture linens and events. It was perfect. Her mother-in-law helped her put on her dress in the bedroom of their beautiful home where they would later have the reception in their gorgeous backyard!
The ceremony took place at St. Clement Church in Romeo, Michigan. This was such a pretty church. Everyone looked so happy for them I couldn’t stop capturing each and every touching moment! Thu and Jon truly have so many loving friends and family surrounding them! After their beautiful ceremony, it was time to capture the some amazing shots of both the wedding party and also Thu and Jon as they shared some precious moments outside on their perfect day. We were lucky to have such a beautiful setting and sunny day! Thu and Jon were so much fun! He can really make her laugh.
It was soon time for the reception to begin! Each pair of the bridal party made their way into the outdoor tent dancing to the music of the live band! Then Thu and Jon made their way in ending their entrance with a kiss. Speeches began and I could tell how loved these two were as I captured so many happy tears being shed!
Thu then changed into her blue dress for the cake cutting from The Home Bakery and dancing! The two danced the night away, they were on the dance floor with their friends and family the whole time! It was definitely a wedding to remember! I was so honored to be apart of their amazing day, it was prefect!
Xoxoxo,
