This was my last wedding of the summer! In August, Cory and Kelli got married at Gateway Assembly in Imlay City and their reception followed at Shelby Gardens in Shelby Township. Both the venues were decorated beautifully thanks to Lynn McLean. And Denise Wampler did a fabulous job planning and coordinating the wedding! Despite the rain, it was a great wedding with amazing people! Cory and Kelli are absolutely adorable together!
I started out the day at Gateway Assembly with Kelli. She looked stunning even before she put on her dress. Before the ceremony she spent time with her closest friends and family as she prepared for the big day! Cory was down the hall with his entourage as well!
Their ceremony was beautiful and they stood on stage underneath the spotlights! They were front and center and looked beautiful! They couldn’t have been happier. Following the ceremony it was still raining off and on so we went to one of our favorite rainout destinations! We photographed the wedding party and couple underneath a bridge in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Everyone looked spectacular! The rain even let up a little so we were able to photograph in a field nearby!
After the photos we headed to the reception at Shelby Gardens. Like I mentioned earlier, it was beautifully decorated! The florist, A & A Flowers did a fabulous job with the floral arrangements and their cake, by Christine’s Cakes, was not only beautiful, but also delicious! It was a great evening filled with love and laughter! The DJ, Elite Entertainment, did a great job keeping the guests on the dance floor! And we even received a thoughtful mention during the speeches! It was so sweet of them to thank us in front of all their guests. The applause was truly touching after a long day of work! We always appreciate the appreciation!
