I met these two cuties near their old high school in Royal Oak. If you couldn’t tell from the images, this Royal Oak Michigan engagement session was pretty spectacular. It was the middle of November and we had planned for it to be cold with beautiful leaves on the trees. It was cold and the leaves were beautiful, but it also snowed! I don’t think I’ve ever photographed an engagement session with snow and bright orange leaves before. Regardless, it definitely made the perfect backdrop for some pretty photographs!
And there is a funny story behind this engagement session! I don’t know if I was thrown off by the snow or the craziness of session, but I totally forgot Joe’s name. I was talking with Melanie and Joe as I was directing them and his name totally slipped my mind, oops! But they were super chill and nice about it! I promise, if I am photographing you, I will know your name! Haha
Anyways, their engagement session was fabulous and they looked so adorable against the bright white snow and colorful leaves! Check it out!
