In May I photographed an amazing couple. These two could not be more PERFECT for each other! The way they look at each other is pure love! Mattie and Patrick had a great wedding day and I’m so lucky I got to capture it!
The couple got ready at Genesis The Church in Royal Oak. Mattie looked stunning with her floral lace dress with simple, but adorable buttons down the back! And Patrick rocked his teal blue tie and converse! I love when couples show their personality through their wedding and these two did just that! They added a personal touch to every aspect of their wedding, even with their flowers! They grew some of them themselves and let me tell you, they were freaking AMAZING!
After the ceremony at Genesis The Church we took some photographs outside. This church had amazing architecture that we were able to capture for the formal photographs! The beautiful gothic arches were a great backdrop for this couple!
Between the ceremony and reception we found the perfect spot to capture the wedding party! The trees were in blossom and the pink flowers coordinated perfectly with the wedding colors! The girls looked adorable in their dresses! Mattie and her sister looked so precious smiling at each other, so happy I was able to capture that special moment!
Not only did the bridal party look great under the spring blossoms, but so did Mattie and Patrick! I couldn’t get over how beautiful these two looked! The smiles, the love, the colors! PERFECT!
The reception followed at The Reserve in Birmingham. Decorated beautifully, the decor showcased the couple’s home grown flowers. It was an outstanding ending to a perfect day.
