May 11th, 2013 was a fabulous day for me shooting a wedding at The Fillmore Theater in Detroit. Rewind back to the winter and you can see their chevron inspired engagement shoot that I did published by The Bridal Bar. Margo and Jon held both their ceremony and their reception at this beautiful and historical venue (coordinated by Krysten Cole & Ashleigh Laabs). All of their details were fabulous and I must say that my favorite detail was that Margo made her dress herself!! Their adorable wedding cake was made by Zingerman’s Bakehouse. The flowers were done by Heidi Grybas. Vocalist, Emily Rose performed. And VJ-ing was done by Thomas Bertin.
I love shooting weddings at unique locations and I ended up with so many fun images (BIG thanks to my second shooter Meg Darket!) Check out the slide-show to see some of my favorites!
