Lindsay & John’s Iroquois Club Bloomfield Hills Wedding
The Iroquois Club Wedding in Bloomfield Hills with Lindsay and John was absolutely beautiful. This was a January wedding, right at the start of a new year. There was such a happy feeling surrounding the day and the winter decorations that covered the inside of The Iroquois Club made this wedding so charming and romantic.
The day began over at the Hilton in Auburn Hills. These two were in their separate suites just one floor apart, getting ready and sharing excitement with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. When we arrived at Lindsay’s room all the girls were finishing up their hair and makeup while drinking mimosas! We began photographing her stunning details including her amazing wedding dress! We thought it would be fun to drape it over one of the balconies outside her room since this hotel had an amazing spot for it, we just had to be careful that John wouldn’t see it! When Lindsay started to put her dress on she had everyone she loved surrounding her and helping her, it was such a special moment.
Meanwhile, John and his groomsmen were toasting to a great day and relaxing since of course they were ready before the girls! John looked so happy and excited to see Lindsay, as soon as she was ready we would head downstairs for their first look. John waited in the hallway as Lindsay made her way down the elevator. They both were so excited and had been waiting for this moment all day! Lindsay walked down the long hallway towards her handsome groom and when he turned around you could just feel the joy they were feeling. They held each other and talked about how excited they were to spend the rest of their lives together, the moments we captured here were breathtaking.
We then took some time to capture some photos of the wedding party together, and hang out at the bar before we made our way over to The Iroquois Club. We were speechless at how charming it was! The Iroquois Club has a beautiful fireplace with a large lit wreath above it. This was where the ceremony would take place. As the guests filed in, Lindsay and John prepared for the biggest moment of their lives. The ceremony was beautiful and these two looked amazing saying their vows surrounded by so much love.
The reception was held in the same room as the ceremony and it was beautiful. Lindsay and John made their entrance and sat at a sweetheart table right in front of the fireplace. They were blessed with so many wonderful speeches where their friends and family made them feel so loved. Their first dance was to the song Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett, it was perfect! When it was time for the mother son and father daughter dance, Lindsay got up and said a touching speech about her dad who had unfortunately passed away. Lindsay then asked her father-in-law to dance with her, it was such a sweet and touching moment. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.
The rest of the night was filled with so much joy! Everyone was on the dance floor dancing their hearts out and having the time of their lives to celebrate these two and their love for eachother.
We were so touched to be apart of Lindsay and John’s wedding day. We could not have asked for a sweeter couple to be with.
Take a look at this beautiful couple and their perfect day!
