The Inn at St John’s Plymouth Wedding

Filed in: Weddings

Last month we photographed an absolutely amazing couple at The Inn at St John’s Plymouth Wedding in Michigan. This is one of my favorite venues, especially when they have the ceremony and reception there, because everything is all in one fantastic place! It allows us to have more time to capture the magical moments. And for Justin and Veronica, there were tons of magical moments! These two are incredibly humble and amazing people. It was a fabulous wedding photographed by my associate photographer and I.

There were so many fun and unique moments that happened during the day, I don’t even know where to begin! Justin had custom bobbleheads of him and his groomsmen and they were freaking AWESOME! They resembled them perfectly and added a unique flare to the wedding. And talk about killer details, Veronica’s shoes were fabulous! Details are usually the first thing we photograph when we arrive on a wedding day and it always an exciting start to the day when the details are as fabulous as the people are!

Veronica and Justin had their ceremony at the chapel at The Inn at St. John’s. It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony. Veronica was all smiles and it warmed my heart to see how happy they were together! It is in these moments that I am reminded of how much I truly love what I do!

Following the ceremony we took bridal party photographs in the hallway near the gardens at The Inn at St. John’s. The beautiful sunlight pouring in the windows made for some great light to photograph in! We took Veronica and Justin outside and they looked amazing!! Veronica’s beautiful smile was contagious. The smiles, the laughter, it couldn’t have gotten any better!

The fun didn’t end there either, their reception was filled with friends and laughter. The band played as Veronica showcased her fabulous red dress for her first dance. I have never had a bride change dresses for their first dance, but I am SO happy she did! She looked freaking amazing and the guests loved it! Justin and his groomsmen even had a little dance shocker of their own! Later in the evening they surprised Veronica with a hilarious choreographed dance. It was great! By the end of the night all the guests were on the dance floor having a blast. That’s how you know it was a success!

I can’t tell you enough how spectacular Veronica and Justin are! They are an amazing couple who truly love and support each other. Oh, and did I mention that Justin owns his own pizza place. What!? I love pizza!

Anyways, enough about pizza, take a look at the stunning Veronica and Justin!

It’s about more than hiring someone to hold a camera and snap a few pics. Wedding photography is about carefully crafting and capturing the moments of your big day in a way that beautifully tells the story of your love.
