The mission of my blog is to help couples envision their story through my eyes. Also help them enjoy their wedding day planning with tips and ideas from my experiences as a wedding photographer. - Sarah Kossuch, Rochester MI
Becky and Tyler had a fabulous July wedding at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth. This golf course has a great reception venue with huge windows overlooking the property. And the golf course grounds provided a variety of backdrops for our fabulous couple! These two were absolutely adorable and I don’t think I’ve photographed a more enthusiastic couple! TOO cute!
Tyler got ready at his brother’s house in Royal Oak. While he was preparing for the big day, Becky got ready at her late grandmother’s house in Westland. Not only was the house sentimental to the family, but the back yard was amazing! It was covered with pine trees that Becky’s grandmother had planted herself. It was definitely a site to see! It was a mini Yellowstone National Park in the middle of suburbia. Becky and her siblings posed in front of the backyard forest before she got in her gorgeous dress! She looked fabulous as ever in her dress!
When it was time, the bridal party headed to the church down the street. They had their ceremony at St. Damian Catholic Church in Westland. Becky’s father waited with her before the ceremony and walked her down the aisle. Becky was overflowing with joy as she walked down the aisle. She was one of the happiest brides I’ve ever photographed!
After the ceremony, the bridal party took a ride in their trolley to Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth. When we arrived we were given golf carts to get around the property. After we photographed the bridal party they had extra time to ride around the golf course. They had a blast! While they were driving around, Becky and Tyler were able to catch a moment alone. We found a secluded wooded area and tucked Becky and Tyler in between the pines. They looked stunning outside and when we went inside the venue, they looked just a good cuddled up on the couch! The chemistry between these two was undeniable!
After we captured the adorable couple it was time for the reception to start! They had a beautiful photographic display of their family members wedding photographs! I love looking at vintage wedding photographs; it reminds me of the value of a wedding photographer and how important capturing those moments are!
Their reception was decorated beautifully! The flowers, by Chris Engel’s Greenhouse, looked amazing on all the tables. And the cake, by Mrs. Maddox Cakes, coordinated perfectly! Not to mention that it was also delicious! Becky and Tyler shared a loving first dance and then they danced the night away!
Here is the fabulous couple!
