In early October I had the opportunity to travel to Chicago to photograph some amazing people! And not only did I get to photograph an incredible couple, I also got to spend time with one of my favorite wedding photographer friends, Meg Darket! It was a blast!!!
Okay, so back to the incredible couple, Julie and Jake are such an incredible couple and I seriously cannot wait to photograph their wedding. Their wedding will be next December, SO EXCITED! They’re THE perfect couple and photographing them was phenomenal!!!
We started the shoot at The Board of Trade Building in downtown Chicago. The two strutted their confidence in the streets. As their eyes locked and their smiles beamed at each other, I could tell their love for each other is real! Then the couple slipped into their Michigan State gear. It was such a cute way to show their alma mater. Julie and Jake rocked their MSU clothes at Navy Pier and Milton Olive Park!
We went back to their apartment and it was too CUTE! Julie and Jake shared some champagne with the gorgeous Chicago skyline in the background. Julie laughed showing off her contagious smile as the top of the bottle flew off. Then we were off to Marina City. The corncob-shaped buildings never looked as good as they did with these two cuties in front of them! We ended our session at the Chicago Riverwalk. Julie and Jake looked ABSOLUTELY stunning in the glow of yellow and red traffic lights!
After we spent the day and evening roaming around Chicago, we went out to dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery! It was GREAT! It was the perfect ending to a fabulous day with an even more fabulous couple! That night I went back to my hotel, Freehand, and gushed over the amazing photos!
Take a look at the picture perfect couple <3
