This Cafe Felix and UMMA Ann Arbor engagement session was my first shoot of 2016 and it turned out amazing! Last month, I met up with Beth and Jacob in Ann Arbor for their engagement session. It was filled with lots of love, giggles, and spectacular locations!
We started out at Cafe Felix in Ann Arbor and the wall mural was a perfect backdrop for these two as they reminisced over drinks. As they sipped away, I shot the magic between these two! The chemistry between these two was undeniable and it was a great shoot to kick off the season! After Cafe Felix we headed over to Hatcher Graduate Library. This library is absolutely spectacular! The tall ceilings with huge windows let in a beautiful light. Beth and Jacob looked adorable embracing each other among the books. TOO cute!
Then we braved the cold outside the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA). Luckily, it was a sunny and beautiful day! One of my favorite shots from this session happened here! It was a completely candid, yet beautiful moment, when Beth giggled and threw up her hand to cover her laugh. It showed her fun personality and showcased her engagement ring beautifully too! After stopping outside of Babo Market briefly for some cute window photographs we finished up the session at Nickels Arcade Alley.
This session displayed their relationship beautifully and it makes me look forward to their wedding and the 2016 season. Bring it on 2016! And take a peek at these cuties!
xoxo,
Sarah
