I always like to take a break during wedding edits and post a little bit about the couple and also fulfill a little bit of anticipation for viewing their images!

First off by letting me say I had to so many images to post for this couple I tried to pick my favorites and it was just way too hard…ha!
Christine contacted me back in 2011 for her wedding and from the moment I spoke to her, she put a smile on my face. Everything from planning to just chatting she had me excited to shoot her wedding from day one! As our excitement increased with the mild winter we were having we thought “PERFECT, April will be sunny, gorgeous, beautiful the whole thing!” Well as luck would have it, the forecast called for downpours all day. Ok well I thought “no biggie!” I call Christine and tell her to bring lots of umbrellas, we are going to rock these photos in the pouring rain!

On my way to Christine’s parents the downpour starts. No worries, we’ll get this figured out without a problem. We arrive and the rain slowed a tad. Luckily we managed to grab a few shots outside before it started to rain again. Then it was off to the church.

Let me tell you, Christine and Rob have an angel looking over them, this angel happens to be Christine’s grandmother. She also happened to be in the world of weddings creating gorgeous cakes! Following the ceremony, guess what – it’s warm AND sunny! YAHOO! So we decided to to take family photos outside, what a perfect way to enjoy not only the weather but the beautiful church Christine and Rob said their vows in.

With much anticipation – myself, my assistant and the bridal party took off to the boardwalk located in Algonac, Michigan and it.was.GORGeous!

I could go on and on about Christine and Rob, I couldn’t be more happy for them and if their life is anything like their wedding day, they are in for one AH-mazing life together!

SOoooo…here are a few photos of their be-YOU-tiful day!

Beautiful pictures and what a great couple. I wish I would have known of you when I got married. You seem to truly care about each couple you work with. That was far from the experience I had with my photographer. I will just have to contact you when we renew our vows.

Sarah, these are AMAZING! You are so talented! Thank-you for the beautiful things that you sad about Rob and I, as well as our big day! To say it was a pleasure working with you would be a total understatement! I cannot wait to see the rest of your amazing work!!!

It’s about more than hiring someone to hold a camera and snap a few pics. Wedding photography is about carefully crafting and capturing the moments of your big day in a way that beautifully tells the story of your love.
