May was truly the magical month! My associate photographer and I photographed one of THE most amazing couples ever! Christopher & Christine at their Waterview Loft Port Detroit Wedding! They were so great to work with and absolutely fabulous on their wedding day. I love photographing all types of weddings in many different locations; however, I love photographing in the city! There is something about the city, Detroit in particular, that I love capturing!
Christine got ready at the Detroit Marriott in the Renaissance Center. Talk about an amazing view of the city! Christine’s mother helped her get into her dress and these two were too precious. The feels, OH the FEELS! There was laughter, tears, and so much joy! From the moment I saw Christine on her wedding day she was all smiles! I don’t think I’ve seen a happier bride!
They had their ceremony at the Waterview Loft at Port Detroit. Again, Christine just beamed with joy as she walked down the aisle toward Chris. I absolutely love the shot after the wedding, Chris was signing the marriage license and Christine is admiring her ring. It’s absolutely adorable! I can only imagine that she was ecstatic that it was official!
Following the ceremony, we went back out on the streets to capture some pretty amazing people! These cuties rocked the streets of Detroit! We walked along the Riverwalk by Port Detroit and the smiles continued! I don’t think Christine stopped smiling all day!
The reception was also held at the Waterview Loft at Port Detroit. It’s such a cool venue with a great view of the Detroit River! The reception was fun and fabulous! Chris and Christine’s first dance was undeniably beautiful with the city lights twinkling in the background. After, they partied it up on the dance floor. DJ Bryan Kaylor kept everyone dancing. So FUN!
Again, the smiles! The joy! The love! It was an amazing day!
