Monika and Gary’s Rochester Hills Backyard Wedding was so charming. It was a beautiful September day and we had perfect weather for an outdoor wedding! The attention to detail in every single part of this wedding made it so special and unique! From the chopped wood backdrop during the ceremony to the little succulents placed on each dinner plate, they truly thought of everything.
To start off the day, Monika wore the cutest pre wedding dress outfit I have ever seen. A jean shirt tucked into a mid length skirt cover in pink flamingos! She sipped on tea and pet her sweet dog as she anticipated the most important day of her life. She looked so happy. Monika’s dress was incredibly beautiful, form fitting and covered in intricate lace, and not to mention it looked amazing on her. Gary got ready, looking in the mirror to tie his tie and check on last minute details before his first look at his beautiful wife to be.
Monika and Gary had such an amazing first look. Monika stood in the entrance of the home as Gary walked through the front door to see her, as she turned around to look at him they both had the biggest smiles on their faces, they couldn’t be happier to finally be together! First looks are one of the best moments of a wedding day, nothing compares to that moment.
It was just a short trek to the backyard for the ceremony. This backyard was gorgeous for a wedding ceremony, I just love backyard weddings because they hold so much meaning being in a place that is so near and dear to you. The ceremony was so touching and beautiful, it was an honor to play a small part in it!
Monkia and Gary each had only their Maid of Honor and Best Man in their wedding party. I loved this because it was different then most weddings and much more intimate for photos! We walked around the Rochester Municipal Park and captured some incredible moments between the two!
The reception was under an amazing wooden structure that was made specially for the wedding! It was draped in white with tall lanterns and flowers decorating the entire place! They also had a special bar that was so rustic looking it was truly one of a kind! Monika and Gary cut their cake and danced their first dance in the yard in front of everyone who they love!
This wedding was so unique and personal to Monika and Gary, I loved every part of it.
See for yourself how beautiful this wedding turned out to be!
